Drummond cares about the communities in which we operate and is excited to partner with ABC 33/40 to sponsor televised high school sports while supporting our schools and helping those in need.
We know that many teachers spend their own personal funds on classroom expenses, so every month through Drummond’s Teacher of the Month competition, we will donate $500 to a teacher to use in their classroom.
How does it work?
Anyone can nominate their favorite teacher by clicking on the nominate button below or going to www.abc3340.com/DrummondCares. The site will be open for applications at all times throughout the year. There are no deadlines to apply. One teacher will be chosen each month and two teachers will win in December! The winning teachers will be notified by ABC 33/40 and will be invited to be interviewed on Talk of Alabama.
Your school could win the opportunity to be highlighted during a televised half-time interview!
As part of the Drummond Cares campaign, each week during football season, we will feature a canned food drive between the televised competing high schools. The school that collects the most canned food for the week will be interviewed during half-time and have the opportunity to highlight a special program, person, or function at their school.
All canned food donated by students will be given to local food banks to help alleviate food insecurity in our community!
