MEDICAL & DENTAL COVERAGE
Drummond provides medical and dental coverage to all full-time salaried employees
and eligible dependents. Monthly premiums are based on coverage elected.
INSURANCE
Drummond provides a variety of insurance coverages to all full-time employees, including:
• Short-term Disability with benefits up to 100% for up to six months based on length
of service.
• Long-term Disability at 60% of base pay after six months of disability (less other
forms of compensation).
• Basic Term Life Insurance at 2X your annual base salary
• Accidental Death and Disability with an additional 2X your annual base salary
or % thereof depending on extent of injury.
• Additional life insurance for you and your dependents is available. You pay for
this insurance, but you will have the advantage of group rates (based on your age),
the convenience of payroll deduction, and the opportunity to add to your life insurance
without providing proof of insurability.
RETIREMENT PLANNING
You can save for the future by participating in Drummond’s Savings Plan, a qualified
401K plan administered by the Vanguard Group. It allows you to save through pre-
and post- tax payroll deductions, and the Company will contribute to your savings
account.
Drummond also offers a defined benefit pension plan designed to provide employees
with an income annuity after retirement. You are fully vested after 5 years of service
and the amount of pension is based on your final average earnings and your years
of creditable service.
HOLIDAYS & VACATION
All full-time salaried employees receive 9 paid holidays each year and vacation
based on your years of continuous service.
EDUCATIONAL ASSISTANCE
Drummond encourages employees to improve themselves through further education by
granting financial assistance to employees who satisfactorily complete approved
courses of study related to their present jobs or probable future assignments.
EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
Drummond’s Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is voluntary. It is a confidential
employee counseling and referral service developed to help all employees and covered
dependents find assistance for dealing with a wide variety of personal problems
such as: family/marital, financial, mental/emotional, alcohol/drugs and legal.
