Located near Lakeland, Florida,
Oakbridge, a 1,500-acre, mixed-use development
was Drummond’s first venture into real estate development. Built on the site of
a reclaimed phosphate mine, this planned community boasts its own golf course and
country club designed by Bob Cupp and Jerry Pate, as well as residential, retail,
professional
and commercial space.
The community is anchored by a 650,000 square foot Lifestyle Center featuring
national retailers such as Kohl's, Ann Taylor, Coldwater Creek, and Bed Bath and
Beyond; restaurants such as Chili's, Macaroni Grill, Abuelo's and Mimi's;
hotels, Courtyard by Marriott, Residence Inn by Marriott and a Hampton Inn plus
an 18-screen Cobb Theater.
This sense of community and quality of life has attracted corporations such as Lockheed
Martin, Target and Marriott.
Drummond strives to bring a high quality of life to all of its real estate projects;
creating a beautiful place to live and work.
