SHARE WITH OTHERS TO WIN OUR FUNDRAISING COMPETITION!

This year Drummond Company is proud to partner with March of Dimes to serve on the Executive Leadership Team with Southern Company in supporting the March of Dimes 2018 Greater Birmingham Area March for Babies. 

On Saturday, April 28^th 2018 around 4,000 individuals will come together at Railroad Park for a fun time in support the March of Dimes. In 2017, March for Babies saw more than 650 companies across Alabama form teams of employees, and along with their families come together to raise funds and walk to fight prematurity. Drummond is also hosting a fun competition for our employees!

We encourage employees to register for the Drummond Company team and join us in April at the Railroad Park!    This will be a fun day for families and a great opportunity to engage with your colleagues outside the office while supporting an important cause! There is no registration fee to enter, but donations are suggested to help fundraise for the event. 

Leverage your Support! Drummond wants to engage with our employees and maximize fundraising potential for March for Babies, so, in addition to our corporate donation, Drummond Company will match employee donations dollar for dollar, up to $2,500!

Why do we care?

Did you know in Alabama, one in 9 babies are born prematurely (37 weeks gestation or earlier)?  In west and central Alabama, one in 7 babies is born prematurely.  Sadly, Alabama has a failing rate on the prematurity national report card.  Click here to see how our state ranks:  https://www.marchofdimes.org/mission/prematurity-reportcard.aspx

How do we help? Let’s all work together to improve the statistics for Alabama.  Please consider registering and recruiting friends and family to walk with you! Using the link below, you will first click on Join Event, enter email address and create your account.  Once your account is created, you can then choose to join the Drummond Company, Inc. team and invite your friends and family to join too! You will have your own March for Babies personal dashboard and a link to share for garnering support.

It’s a Win-Win!!  We have prizes along the way! Sign up before Friday, April 13th to be included in a drawing for a FitBit Activity Tracker.   We will also be awarding prizes for the top 3 fundraisers after the walk on April 28^th!  Prizes include a Top Golf experience for up to 6 people (donated by LPJV), a Family Membership for one year at the Birmingham Zoo, and a Red Mountain Park Adventure for four on a Vulcan Materials Zip Trip or another adventure of your choice valued at $216 (donated in part by Red Mountain Park). The winning employees will have their choice of prizes, based on their ranking!
